Over the past few years, Sri Lanka has emerged as a country issuing postage stamps with absolutely stunning designs. These stamps have been issued by Sri Lnka Post on various occasions that have significance for people in various walks of life. These beautiful stamps include stamps issued for religious festivals, cultural festivals, national and international events as well.
On 9 October 2024, Sri Lanka has issued a beautiful set of 2 stamps to commemorate 150th Anniversary of Universal Postal Union (UPU). Both stamps show the official colours of the UPU150 campaign and the official designs as well, along with a Sri Lankan flag on both stamps.
