USA Stamps 2025 - Honouring the Armed Forces of USA

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has issued 3 commemorative stamps to honor the sacrifices of three services. The 3 stamps, known as the Armed Forces stamps, have been issued to commemorate the 250th anniversaries of the Army, Navy and Marine Corps.

USA Stamps 2025 - 250 Years of Service since 1775

Each of these military branches was founded in 1775.

The stamps show the force's emblem against a pure white background and include the inscriptions "250 YEARS OF SERVICE," "SINCE 1775", and "FOREVER/USA."

Honoring the services of US Armed Forces - US Armed Forces Stamps

The 3 stamps have been designed by Antonio Alcalá, USPS's creative director and have been issued on May 16, 2025 in Washington, DC.

US Armed Forces stamps have been issued in panes of 20 stamps each.

Hi Again!
Today I just decided to go through the Flag Counter gadget that I added a couple of years ago and it looks really nice on the blog. The beautiful colours of different flags add colours to the overall feel of the blog too.

It was really nice to see so many different flags together. The stats for the counter were even more refreshing.
The details say that 158 Different Countries have visited this site and 220 Flags have been collected.

No doubt, my beloved homeland Pakistan has the highest share of visitors (25.6%), followed closely by United States which is 19.2%. United Kingdom holds the 3rd place with 8.8% visitors.
The top 5 coutries have more than 1000 visitors each.

The Flag Counter site also shows a World Map with flags added to the portions from where my blog has collected a flag. It seems pretty crowded in Europe I believe.

Coins Issued to Celebrate Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton

While the World celebrates the Royal Wedding, it is repeatedly being compared with the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana. I Googled to find some coins issued on the event by different countries and found quite a number of them. I do not know whether they are real coins or fake ones but still I found them interesting to share with my readers. 2009 Native American Dollar - Won in a competition

Here is my prize. It is an uncirculated 2009 Native American Dollar (US Mint image included below). It looks amazingly beautiful.

Underneath are the scans of both sides of the coin as scanned by me. Thanks again to the site organizers. What do you say about this beautiful coin?

Hello!

Today I found a US$1 coin sent by coinnetwork.com in my mail box. It was a prize won by me for being one of the first 50 members to join a contest on the site. Here is a wonderful cover sent by one of the moderators Michael Zielinski from USA.

The stamp used on the cover is one of the two landscape USA stamps. It features a scenic American landscape with a photograph of Trunk Bay on the northern coast of St. John, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. St. John is known for its beautiful beaches, abundant plant life and the coral reefs along its coast. The island is also rich in history, and visitors to St. John can see pre-Columbian relics and the remains of Danish colonial sugar plantations. The photograph was taken by George H.H. Huey of Prescott, AZ. The set of both stamps can be seen as under:-
