It has been a long time since I last updated my blog. In fact I wanted to do it more often, but because of various commitments I could not get time. However I should not be worried because every blogger faces a similar down time at some stage of his blogging life.
I have decided to be more punctual in posting new posts on my blog from now on. Let's see how long this pledge works.
So here is my first post of the long time. The beautiful stamps shared today, show a beautiful set of women in traditional dresses from Pakistan. The dresses are from for four provinces of Pakistan. Pakistani dresses are famous around the globe for their embroidery, neatness and originality.
The Pakistani traditional dresses shown on the stamps are from the four provinces of the country naming Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP (the name of the province has lately been changed from North Western Frontier Province (NWFP) to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) )
The first day cover also shows a pattern of Pakistani embroidery. The stamps were issued in 1993 and the cover is postmarked at Philatelic Bureau Peshawar.

Hello Master!
I was surfing the web and found your blogs. Very nice by the way. I see you keep yourself very busy. A couple of months ago I started my own and please if you want to take a look and share I will be very Grateful.
My blog is: http://mimundofilatelico.blogspot.com/
Which is my biggest passion. And in a minor scale I also collect bookmarks.
The reason I'm writing is to see if you would be interested in doing an exchange with me. I also checked your Unesco postcards and I'm sure you would like Copan on those sites.
If you are, please contact me to:
salee_1973@yahoo.com
Have a nice day! And good luck! And lots of Success with your blogs!

Hi, thanks for joining on Sunday Stamps this week. You have picked a fine set to show us for the pink theme. I don't see many stamps for Pakistan at all so it was a pleasure to see these.
Hello,
We're the same! I was also away from blogging for almost a month due to various urgent commitments...
It's great to be back. Welcome back to blogging for both of us!
I love the stamps you share. One of the themes that I collect for postcard exchange is traditional costumes.
Wish to see more blog entries from you.
Your new follower,
Maria
They look very beautiful things to wear. Nice cover.
Very attractive stamps and first day cover too.
To answer your question about the UNESCO sites in Ireland, I'm sorry to say that I don't have any cards because I don't live there any more.
Dear Bob!
Thanks a lot for liking the stamps. It is really a very fine set of stamps. I shall try to find some lovely flower stamps for next Sunday Stamps theme.
Thanks for introducing this fun activity to me :)
And I will show you more Pakistani stamps to keep you happy :-D
Thanks for your comments too @ Joy, @Maria, @Shiela
I would also like to get postcards of other UNESCO Sites which are on my missing list. It can be seen here:

Lovely set and cover.
I've read your article. Honestly, I've never read this type of informative and efficient article before. This article will help lots of beginners like me to build skills in embroidery. Love to read your incoming blogs too. Really appreciate your work and dedication. We have digitizing in usa to fulfill your embroidery needs.
