Montenegro - 150 Years of Universal Postal Union (UPU) 2024 #UPU150 #150UPU

To celebrate 150th Anniversary of Universal Postal Union (UPU), Montenegro issued a single stamp on 9 October 2024. The Montenegro stamp is unique in its design and different from the standard UPU150 design. The stamp depicts a flying pigeon carrying mail. However the official UPU150 logo for 150 Years of UPU stamps is designed in the left-top corner of the stamp.

The Montenegro FDC for 150 Years of UPU event also shows the same flying pigeon and the official UPU150 logo.

Montenegro also issued a maxi card with the standard design of UPU150 postcards.

Montenegro 2020 - 75th Anniversary of United Nations Organization Stamp

As one of the youngest members of the United Nations Organization, Montenegro is committed to promotion of the principles of the UN Charter and actively contributes to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. On the occasion of marking the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, Montenegro Post published a special issue of postage stamp.

The author of the idea and design is Adela Zejnilović, a graphic designer from Podgorica. The denomination of the stamp is 0.30 Euro.
